Tradition

Founded in 1969, The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill's Men's Crew Club has embodied the motto of Tradition, Teamwork, Excellence.  As a member of UNC Sports Clubs, we compete on a highly competitive level against both Varsity and Club programs across the nation. Every year, the club travels to compete at acclaimed regattas up and down the East Coast in venues such as Boston, MA, Philadelphia, PA, and Gainesville, GA. We are consistently looking for any student, tall or small, who is willing to put in the work to row for Carolina and represent their school on the national stage.

Teamwork

Teamwork

Our team typically consists of 40 highly motivated athletes who come from a multitude of backgrounds. We look for students who, regardless of athleticism and physical stature, are willing to put in the intensity and effort required to represent Carolina at regattas across the nation. The best rowers are not the ones with the most size, but the ones that put in the most work.
