Most of our practices our held out of the Michael Nicholls Boathouse on University Lake, which is located approximately 3 miles west of campus. If you do not have a car on campus, there are a number of bus routes that head that direction including the JFX and CM.

During Spring Break training and ACRA training season, we often row on Jordan Lake, launching from Farrington Point. For more information on where our races are check out the Schedule page.

The Erg Room

Nomads No more!

After years in Woolen, we’re happy to say that we found our way back to one of the Fetzer Squash courts…but this time its different! This summer we were given a clean slate to make a permanent rowing room, so local team members spent their afternoons making this new place feel like home. New features include:

  • Freshly painted walls

  • 55” TV for video review

  • The most massive white board in the western hemisphere

  • A “recovery corner” with foam rollers, yoga mats, stretch bands, medicine balls, etc.

  • 24 ergs

  • 2 bikes

  • A TROPHY CASE to display 5 decades of racing trophies and historical memorabilia.
